To summarize this book simply, it's a book about marriage. More precisely, a book about being newly married and as a newly married wife I definitely found myself relating to Cindy Chupack on some kind of level. Sure, our lives are completely different...but there is a universal feeling of those first few years of being married. Of intertwining your life with someone else, especially someone whom you'd never expected to fall for, let alone marry.
This book started out funny, but as it progressed into Cindy's infertility and the couple's struggle to become parents...I found myself drawn in completely. It was heartbreaking reading some of the later chapters, especially when I came into the book expecting a humorous memoir.
