11/22/63 - Stephen King

I tried to write a review for this novel soon after I finished reading it and realized that I still needed time to process what I had read but even a full month after finishing I’m still not sure what I thought about it.

Overall I liked it, like always Stephen King is an engaging storyteller and writer and I was tickled pink by the It references but I struggled to get sucked in as I usually do when reading a King novel. I even had to renew this from the library because I could not finish in the alloted time.

I’m thinking that I would have liked this book more if I had been older and had experienced the Kennedy assassination first hand or the subject matter was something that I had experienced (9/11 for example) …because like I said, it was a good book but not one I felt as though I could fully engage in
