If I had to sum up this book in one sentence, the sentence that springs to mind is: this is the best book I’ve ever read, that I never, ever want to read again.
It was an intense book. Extremely well written, but probably the scariest book I have ever read in my life. Seriously, put this book up against the more gruesome horror novel and I will almost guarantee you that this is the one that will give you nightmares all night long. It did to me. For two nights solid after plowing through Still Alice I found myself plagued with nightmares, waking myself up in panic because I had convinced myself that my memory was failing me.
