It’s probably been about two weeks or so since I finished this book, and unfortunately my memory has been compromised by several books read in the meantime. I do remember that it was a fairly standard memoir of it’s kind, a story of a non traditional family situation. They can be fun to read, but sometimes…after a point, they tend to blend in together with all the other similar memoirs.
But Meier DeKam is a good, and interesting storyteller. Her vivid recollections of her somewhat nomadic childhood and the environment around her kept me engaged in her life, curious to see where she would wind up next.
